The General Terms and Conditions are terms governing your account(s) held with us. You are advised to read this together with the [Service Terms], which are terms and information relating to certain products and services to which you may have subscribed with us.
The General Terms and Conditions are made up of:
- The Master Services Agreement (including the Confidentiality and Regulatory Annex) – this document is applicable to your accounts and overall banking relationship with HSBC. If you already have an account with HSBC, either in India or elsewhere, you may have already seen this document. If this is the first time you are opening an account with HSBC, please read this document carefully.
- The India Country Conditions – these conditions amend and/or supplement the Relationship Documents (as defined in the Master Services Agreement) for your accounts in India only. Please read these conditions carefully whenever you open an account with HSBC in India.
- The India Account Disclosures – this document supplements the Relationship Documents and sets out additional terms and requirements that are applicable to your accounts in India only. Please read this document carefully whenever you open an account with HSBC in India.
- The E-Channel Services Schedule and the E-Channels Security Measures – these documents are applicable to you if you are subscribing for an HSBCnet profile, whether in India or elsewhere. If you already have an HSBCnet profile, whether in India or elsewhere, you have already seen these documents.
- The Corporate Card Service Schedule – these conditions amend and/or supplement the Relationship Documents (as defined in the Master Services Agreement) for your Corporate Credit Card requirements in India only. Introducing a faster and more convenient way to submit your account servicing requests!
With our new Smart Request Form, you can now make specific account servicing requests by completing the application at your convenience before submitting the same to any HSBC branch or your relationship management team. The form is a dynamic and easy to-use form designed to handle multiple requests used frequently.
The Smart Request Form can be accessed through the Download page on our website as well as through this link. (This is interactive Adobe PDF form that cannot be viewed in browser. Please download the form to your local drive and open it with Adobe Reader.) The following account servicing requests are covered through the Smart Request Form. The form can be filled, validated, signed (physically or electronically) and submitted by you to your relationship management team.

Note: All account servicing requests besides the above listed six requests will follow the existing process, viz. through other channels like HSBCNet (HSBC's online banking platform) or paper submission.
Smartform, a preferred mode:
- To submit account servicing requests that would otherwise require physical document submission, where applicable
- To use a structured and standardized form entailing clear information and using handy drop-down options from the menus provided in the form
